Ronald Regep (@ronnieregap) has chosen a very special Civic to base his project on in the form of a 8th Gen Mugen Civic Si. The model was announced at the 2007 SEMA auto show and was limited to only 1,000 units, making this Civic a very rare car indeed.

Not content with this level of exclusivity, Ronald made the Civic even more unique by swapping the Mugen suspension to an Air Lift Performance thready body kit. The Mugen team already tuned the car for fast driving and Ronald says the Air Lift Performance kit improves things even further thanks to the individually adjustable damper setup.

The Mugen Si came only in Fiji Blue Pearl, and featured a higher-flowing cat-back exhaust, an exclusive Mugen grill, an exclusive shift knob and of course a Mugen body kit. The factory body lines are what originally drew Ronnie to the car and he has left them just as Mugen intended.

The Desmond Regamaster wheels in a fully polished finish do a fantastic job of accenting the deep blue paint and hint at the fast road style of the original model. But this car is not all about luscious paint and polished wheels, Ronald also drives this car hard at track events, using the flexibility of Air Lift Performance suspension to deliver a comfortable low ride to the circuit and full performance at the track.
